Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Tradevisor AI collects, why we collect it, on what legal basis, who it can reach, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it. It is written for clients and visitors in the United Kingdom and follows UK data-protection law.

1. Definitions

"Personal data" means information relating to an identified or identifiable person; "processing" covers anything done with it, from collection to deletion; "we", "us" and "Tradevisor AI" refer to the controller of the data described below; "you" is the visitor or client this policy addresses.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect identity and contact data (name, email address, phone number), account data you provide when registering or through support conversations (including the content of your enquiries), verification data collected under our AML / KYC policy (identity documents, address evidence), and transaction records (deposits, withdrawals, account activity) connected to the services we provide.

3. Usage data

When you use the site, technical data is generated: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, times of visits and referring pages. This comes from server logs and similar sources, and is used for security, performance and basic analytics, not to build advertising profiles.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep sessions working and the site secure, and, where analytics run, measurement cookies that aggregate how pages are used. Marketing cookies are only set if you agree to them. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site remains functional without optional cookies.

5. Controller and processors

Tradevisor AI, 13 St Andrew Square, Edinburgh EH2 2BD, United Kingdom, is the controller of the data described here. Where another company processes data on our instruction (hosting, verification tooling, email delivery), it acts as a processor under a written contract that limits what it may do with the data. Processors never use your data for their own purposes.

6. How and why we use your data

We use personal data to: provide the service you asked for (account creation, verification, analysis delivery, deposits and withdrawals); answer your questions and handle complaints; meet legal obligations such as identity verification and record-keeping; keep the platform secure and prevent fraud and abuse; and, with your consent, send optional product updates. Every use maps to one of these purposes.

7. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (operating your account and the services you signed up for); compliance with a legal obligation (verification, anti-fraud and record-keeping); legitimate interests (site security, service improvement, communication about your account), pursued in ways that do not override your rights; and consent, for optional marketing and any non-essential cookies. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

8. How long we keep data

Contact and enquiry data is kept while your enquiry is open and for a short period after closure. Account and transaction data is kept for the life of the account and for the period legally required afterwards, including verification records which the law requires us to retain for a defined number of years after the relationship ends. Usage data is kept in aggregated form for analytics and in raw form only as long as needed for security. When retention ends, data is securely deleted.

9. Sharing and disclosure

We share data only with: verification and identity-check providers acting on our instruction; IT and hosting providers; the licensed entity executing your transactions, to the extent needed to operate your account; professional advisers (legal, audit) under confidentiality; and regulators, courts or other competent authorities where a lawful order or reporting obligation applies. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

10. International transfers

Our primary processing takes place in the UK and the EEA. Where a provider is located elsewhere, data is transferred only under safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement, and the transfer is documented.

11. Security

Data is protected by encryption in transit and at rest, access controls limited to the roles that need the data, and the technical and organisational measures described on our Security page. No system is perfectly secure, so we also maintain an incident process: if a breach affects your rights, we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

12. Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased where no legal ground to keep it remains; to restrict processing while a dispute about the data is resolved; to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling; to data portability for data you provided on a contractual basis; and to withdraw consent for consent-based processing at any time. To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We respond within one month, extendable for complex cases, and we will explain if a request cannot be fulfilled (for example, verification records we must retain).

13. Service providers

The categories of providers we rely on are hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, identity verification, analytics (where enabled) and payment processing. Each receives only the data its function requires, under contract terms that bind it to our instructions and to appropriate security.

14. Analytics and advertising

Where analytics run on this site, they measure aggregate usage: which pages are read, for how long, from which broad region. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers, and we do not use your data to profile you for third-party advertising. If an analytics tool is added or changed in a way that matters to you, this policy is updated first.

15. Children

The service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The published version is always current, and material changes are notified to registered clients by email before they take effect.

17. Contact us
